The Josiah Institute for Leadership and Public Policy (Reform & Implementation)
The Josiah Institute is an International Itinerant, Mobile Learning Community available to Transform Leaders and leadership in many forums, including Government, Public Sector, Political, Non-Government and Civic, Church and Business.
The Institute will provide training in both the local market (Bahamas), and the International sectors, as requested by Public Sector leaders or Private companies and organizations, in their local environments and countries.
The specialized Curriculum will be based on a variety of disciplines, to advise the Reform of Leaders and Leadership for Ethical operations in their various Sectors.
We have trained and experienced Lecturers in various fields such as Education, Nursing, Health Care Management, Economics & Finance, Budgeting, Leadership Development, Organizational Leadership, Natural Resources Development, Public Policy & Legislation Formulation, Project Management, Small-Medium Sized (SME) Business Development, Joint-Venture Financing, Multi-media and Broadcasting, Church Administration & Protocol, Theology & Religion, among others. In addition, Guest Presenters will be invited to Lecture. We are partnering and collaborating with International and Local Educational Institutions for Public Policy Research and community Projects.
Ali McIntosh Children's Charities
AMCC is the personal philanthropic arm of our CEO, who responds compassionately whenever the call is made for assistance.
Coming from the great heritage of the Missionary and Philanthropic work of her mother, Pastor Dr. H. Jane McIntosh-White; and with more than a decade working with Youth in the nation, under the auspices of the National Committee for Youth; Ali started the Ali McIntosh Children's Charities in 2009, to focus her personal charitable efforts on charities who help children. Over the past two decades, the people of Abaco has been one of the greatest beneficiary of her generosity.
The Ali McIntosh Children Charities has participated for several years in the 'Stocking Stuffers' Christmas Program sponsored by the Nassau Guardian Newspaper; and has sponsored its own 'Shoes for Tots' Programs, giving away thousands of new shoes for children in the Bahamas, sending shoes all across this archipelago nation. The AMCC is grateful for the kind sponsorship of the SkyBahamas Airlines, who has always provided air transportation to take our shoes and supplies to various islands, free of charge. In addition, the AMCC has provided thousands of bags of groceries, and scores of thousands of pieces of clothing to children, with the help of and in collaboration with other Children's groups and Children Charities.
In September 2019, the AMCC swiftly jumped to the aid of Hurricane Dorian victims of Abaco and Grand Bahama by raising supplies in the United States for distribution to persons displaced in Nassau and other islands. The endeavour has already supplied more than five hundred contacts, covering over 800 dependents with assistance. The effort to help Abaco and Grand Bahama residents rebuild their lives are still on-going; and will continue as long as we can continue to secure supplies. Ali McIntosh is personally involved and makes special effort, to collaborate with other charitable organizations all across the Bahama-island chain, to meet the needs of families needing help.
We have Agents in Grand Bahama, Abaco, Exuma, Eleuthera, Acklins, and Andros, who distribute our supplies in those islands.
